Craig Olson, MD, FACS, is an experienced board-certified and fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon who specializes in rectal and colon cancer and pelvic floor disorders. He performs advanced minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic surgeries and uses enhanced recovery pathways to optimize outcomes. Carmel, Illinois– one of the state’s best critical access hospitals. He was there since 2018 and gained extensive experience with patients of all age groups in a rural community surgical practice. He has performed over 1,000 colonoscopies and hundreds of major surgeries including gall bladder, hernia, and appendix. . He also performs surgeries to address skin cancer, colon cancer, breast cancer, and more. Has a special interest in laparoscopic and acute care surgery and is skilled at treating chronic, non-healing wounds.
