Shakoor Badr, M.D., FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon. Before joining Parkview Regional Hospital, Dr. Badr practiced at Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel, Illinois– one of the state’s best critical access hospitals. He was there since 2018 and gained extensive experience with patients of all age groups in a rural community surgical practice. He has performed over 1,000 colonoscopies and hundreds of major surgeries including gall bladder, hernia, and appendix. .
